A Lil' Valentine and a Makeover..

Do you celebrate V-day?

The older I get the sillier I think it is.

Mostly because in my younger days, I placed far to much importance on this day.

No one could live up to the expectations I placed on it!

Now we just do a little something and call it a day.  So on that note.....

Now for the Makeover. Remember this little lady Hope?

If not, you can read about her here.  I couldn't make up my mind on what color to paint her so I decided to take a vote. The majority vote went to this.....

which I had every intention of painting. That is, until Mr. Treasures said....

"You know, after seeing Tracy's shop, I want to paint that hutch red"

Now how can I possibly say no to that??

It's completely a coincidence that Hope is making her debut on Valentine's Day!

We're currently debating, should we rough her up or maybe slap a  little glaze on her?

Or maybe we'll leave her alone. She really looks great. Oh and yes we are painting the room again!!!
As hard as I tried, I couldn't live with the greay.

Yes, I realize it's spelled incorrectly. Since I never know,  is it grey or gray?
I've decided to just add them both.

Here's another look at her with her "jewelry" back on...

Oh and I almost forgot, Happy Valentine's Day to me....

My new curtains are going to look fanTASTIC!!

Yeah that Mr Treasures made the call on the Red! I have wanted something bright in the house for a while and after our Santa Barbara trip I knew that was the piece for some color.

Isn't that great he wanted to paint it red! It looks GREAT! I would leave it alone because it looks perfect to me.
Those curtains are amazing!
I will admit, I do love valentines day! We don't do anything wild, we just have dinner at home. But... oh how I love the decorations, all that PINK!
Have a pretty day!
