Wish me luck!!

Alright- by now if you've been following along, you know that I have entered the working world after an 11 year stint as a SAHM. You know that I have a tendency to procrastinate whether I have plenty or little time.
And if you saw my last post you also know that I ALWAYS have good intentions.

Around 21, 22 days ago I "started" the....

That Leslie over at Words Of Me Project is having.  Now, as much as I know this project isn't about making a deadline, I still feel very strongly about completing it with everyone else. I want to be able to celebrate our creativeness together.

If I'm going to do that, I'll need to start making it a priority.

I've always waited for creativity to strike rather than seeking out ways to nurture it.

So if I'm going to change my ways and catch up,  I'll need to make a few adjustments.

Now, If this were the only place that I lacked conviction than I'd probably be ok.

Problem is, my whole life is lived with the "Oh well, I can do it tomorrow" attitude.

This has not worked out well for me or my family since returning to work.

In fact not only have I put my creative needs on the back burner but I've put my health and fitness there as well.

That's why starting tomorrow (ha ha get it? tomorrow?)   Ok, for real this time - I promise!

Starting tomorrow, I'm joining  Jen over at Jen's Ink Pen in the Couch to 5K plan.

This is where you come in, cause if I ever want.....

the chance for my bum to look like this, I'd better get committed!!

So wish me luck!!!   I'm gonna need it.

I've gotta go ice my leg now,  I think I pulled a muscle while doing 5 minutes on the elliptical.

Angie...I have been working out for awhile now, but I heard about couch to 5k somewhere else, and decided to give it a try to see how long I could run. I usually do walk/run intervals on the treadmill, but really want to be able to run longer...so I happened to start this yesterday!!

I will be cheering you on!!

You can do it! I'm going to sacrifice some of my time just to help ya along the way.

All you have to do is send a photo each week of your bum, and if I feel you are not making progress I will let ya know! How awesome is that? ;)

Hey girl. Long time no see. I have been an absentee blogger. Work, work, work is my only excuse. I'm interested in the couch to 5k plan. I have heard about it but haven't checked it out. Thanks for the link. I can't wait to hear about your progress. Motivate me sister! You can do it!

Good for you Angie! The plan looks realistic. Will you be jogging in the morning or after work?
I always found that early morning was the best time for me to exercise. I tended to find excuses not to do it after work.
It feels good to have it done and over with before anyone else gets up. Just a thought.
Good Luck!
