What would I do without blog friends??

I  remember when the whole "Internet dating" thing started happening many YEARS ago.

I remember thinking "How ridiculous is that?"  and  "How could you possibly create a relationship that way??"

I frowned upon it sooo much that even my brother-n-law lied about how he met his girlfriend.

Who later became his wife....

and then the Mother of his children...

My nephew,  Peyton Cread Blythe

and my niece, Addison Emily Blythe (shown in the photo below)

And my niece Brynn Apryl Blythe, who will be arriving shortly
YAY!!!
Then it happened.

I started to feel the need to connect with someone (other than my adorable Mr. Treasures and my 2 angels)

Most of my friends worked outside of the home and if they didn't they were understandably busy during the day, and at night, well night time is family time.

At this time I had been following a few blogs and saw all the interaction taking place.

So....

I decided to start my blog and share all the things that I Treasure.

I thought that  if I had someone to chat with in between loads of laundry, that would be great!!

I had NO idea how much a part of my life those "someones"  would end up being.

Most of the time I end up talking about you guys more than my friends in "real life"

I can say this to you because I know you get it.

So I just want to say a BIG, GIANT Thank you!!!

Thank you to those of you who've been following along for a while!

Thank you to those of you who've just started following along!

Thank you for actually reading what I write!

Thank you for all your encouraging words.

Thank you  for being there in between the loads of laundry and every other time!!!

Take a second and stop by here!

If for some reason you aren't already a follower of Leanne's

Your missing out!!!

She is hilarious, open, caring, honest and a GREAT blog friend!!!

I LOVE blog friends! It has become such a fun way to meet many like minded yet diverse people! I think there is a true honesty about blog friends because we're all here sharing our ideas, hoping someone likes them! Keep up the good work Angie!

i know what you mean about getting lonely during the day because your friends are working at their jobs and you're at home quietly doing laundry! I pray for a close friend that lives near me all the time. And then this year with this terrible rain and weather for spring it's been even worse being stuck in the house. As we speak it's pouring again... Sometimes a comment from a blog friend is a lovely perk me up!

I have to tell you I used to laugh at my wonderful wife and her "Blogger" friends. Now after many months of following and seeing the interaction, I think it is the coolest thing. The relationships and the laughs that come from blogging are some of the best things ever. The ideas that are shared and the quotes that are quoted are awesome. "Mr Treasures" is a big fan of all of you ladies, you bring my wife much joy and as we all know a happy wife makes for a happy life. A huge "Thank You" to all of you.

I've recently moved far away from all of my friends and family and my blog has really given me something that is my own and makes me feel connected to the rest of the world (I live in a very rural area!), And every time I get a comment, it literally makes me happy for hours!

Blog friends are amazing...people who don't have blogs or friends that they have found through blogs simply don't understand...its a whole new way of connecting...its different than other social media sites. I have felt the pain and joy of bloggers through my computer screen as I read their words....Words are OH SO powerful! You get the opportunity to connect with ALL different kinds of people from ALL over and you get to do so whenever you are able...between loads of laundry...in my case...when you can't sleep and its 1 AM on the East coast reading blog friends blogs is such a comfort!!! Thanks for being such an accomplished blogger and still so willing to take the time to connect with your readers on such a personal level....if I were where you are now I would say congratulations and give you a great hug! `
