WHAT?

Makeover Monday on a Tuesday?

A Tuesday evening no less!!

I told you yesterday, Tracy trumps all!

Anyhow, not sure if you remember this piece or not?

I picked it up from Goodwill over 6 months ago for $19.99. I blogged about it but for some reason I can't seem to track down the original post.

Anyhow,  one of my goals for 2011 was to paint at LEAST one piece of furniture a month.  Sounds easy enough but I hadn't been able to dedicate any time to it previously.

Since I had an extra pep in my step thanks to my surprise visit to Tracy's on Saturday, I decided Sunday morning that I would get started on a project.

No matter how big or small. I went hunting through the garage and discovered this dresser all over again!

As I started taking survey as to what I'd need to fix her up I noticed that every......

single....

drawer.....

had different contact paper and one of them even came complete with....

a dead cricket. See him in the top right corner?

Surprisingly the paper peeled right off without any problems and in no time she was sanded and ready to paint.

AGAIN with the sideways photos!!!  I can't wait till I get my computer back!

Here's a better look at it....

I LOVE the way it turned out!

Now I just need to accessorize and start my gallery wall!!

Since that piece was such a breeze and really my first piece of 2011, I decided I'd go for two in one month!!

Next up?  Remember Hope ??  You all voted for Kelly Green with a little chocolate glaze. So look for her soon!!
