Sidewalk Sunday

It's been slow going as far as sidewalk Treasures.

Mainly because I'm to tired to even pay attention when I'm driving around anymore!

Last week I decided it had been to long since my last visit to Goodwill, I jumped in the car in hopes of finding something inexpensive and amazing all rolled into one.

On my way there I spotted this...

Here's a closer look at the side...

I thought it would be perfect in our game room/craft room like this....

 Maybe painted a pale green/gray?

 Or black?

Or maybe a cool red would look great popping off the gray walls?

Right next to the huge shelving unit was this little guy...

I know he's really gross looking right now but one can of spray paint and he could be ready to debut as a mini bar cart just like the one seen here at Tracy Porters right hand woman's home.

If this stuff wasn't great enough, look what the "T.O." at work asked if I would take off his hands...

 a COMPLETE bedroom set!?!!

 How cool is that?

Check back next week to find out who gave me this....

As usual, I am HORRIBLE about giving credit where credit is due on the inspirational photos. Please if you recognize any of them, let me know!!

Very cool Angie!! I'm dreaming of a craftroom myself...but I'm thinking that involves getting a bigger house! LOL Keep doing the stuff you love. There is no rush to get it all done {Did I just say that?! I'm the queen of wanting to do everything pronto!LOL} I'm finding that crafting is the only thing that is keeping me sane these days... :)

Holy Cow!!! You know, I am most amazed at how you can look at something (like that little rusty shelf) and see it's potential. That really is just the coolest gift, Angie. Not only that - but to be able to take it and actually DO IT ... that's another gift. (I really would be so overwhelmed and wouldn't know where to start.) SO love seeing life through your eyes. Yes, Life is good!

Hello, would you mind telling me where you found the pic of the one just under the words "Or black". I'd love to know where to one of those.
It's got me thinking.

Margo, I'm so sorry- I've been horrible about giving credit where credit is due. A lot of the images I have, I had initially saved as inspiration a long time ago and didn't think to note the source.

You have a great vision for those sad little pieces! I would have seen the giant shelf as is and passed it by! My latest curb "buy" was two large pots of geraniums. Found them by the trash cans and brought them home. Just put them right out by the garage door. I would love to "shop" with you! I think we would probably make a whole day of it though!!! HA

I have a little cart I am going to do this to! Great idea! A whole bedroom set! wow! I think the shelf would look good black. Although all of the colors were great.
Have a pretty day!
