Anthro love and a Sales Rep....

Would you believe me if I told you that until Wednesday, I had never stepped foot in an Anthropologie store before?

I know, crazy right?

Well, the "Sales Rep" had a mixer he needed to attend in Newport Beach.
He decided to bring me along to introduce me to a few of his customers and to help land future customers as well.

So we headed out to Newport early so we could swing buy a couple of the offices he calls on.

Our first stop was lunch at Fashion Island.

Beautiful place to spend an afternoon.

Sadly we weren't there to do anything other than work so we didn't stay long.

I did manage to beg him to let me take a quick walk through Anthro.

It smelled like perfection and there was so much eye candy I wasn't sure what to look at first.

I knew I only had a few minutes so I had to be fast.

First was this gorgeous distressed bookshelf.

Filled with all sorts of fun stuff.

As I was speed walking through all the beautiful clothes I turned and saw this....

THE most beautifully vintage, cozy office space.

I HAD to sit and imagine all the goodness I could create and all the big money deals I could help close if only this were MY office. Then of course I had to have the moment documented.

Even if it was with a crappy blackberry photo.

This was another corner of the office.

and I'm not sure why, but this wall of mirrors on the brick make me happy.

It's all very Tracy Porter isn't it?

There were so many other gorgeous photo opportunities but at that moment work really was more important,

sort of.

Here's a fun blog if you're an Anthro junkie

Anyhow, I'll be sure to head back to this store the first chance I get and this time I'll bring a real camera!

A special thank you to the Rep for allowing me a few minutes of heaven during my work day!

I love going in there and being equally disgusted and inspired. Does that make sense?

oh boy angie... there's no going back now...

ps I love to shop at fashion island. we didn't go there this time back in july though. I love driving around those neighborhoods behind the ruby's that's there and dreaming that I could live in one of those cute beach cottages!

You've got me beat. I've never been in an Anthro store in my life. We just don't have them around here. Wonder if I could plan a Vaca around an Anthro location? hmmm How cruel that you didn't get to linger..bet it makes you want to get back so much more.

Danger, Danger Will Robinson...that place is eye candy but will punch ya in the gut at the checkout. Beware. :) But I'm glad you got to experience the Anthro world.

I thought of you while I was there. I thought I should really try to contact Angie, but alas, like your Anthro trip, I didn't have a lot of time other than business. Next time I'm in OC though we WILL meet!!! :) I hope you're having a restful weekend.
