Makeover Monday

So as you all know, it's been slow going when it comes to the makeovers.  I used to have nothing but time and now well, my days are full and not always in a fun way.

The reason I'm bringing this up AGAIN is basically to justify how little a change has to be- in order to be considered a "Makeover" for me anymore.

Alright,  enough of the fine print-

I give you.....

Makeover Monday......

We've been on a quest to get rid of all things gold in the Treasure household.

It's been a slow process. Very slow, but we did finally get the chalkboard wall done!!

Now it's just time to make it "eraser" ready  and then accessories!!!

Maybe I'll have that done in time for next Monday.

Should we hold our breath???

Very cool! Now your husband has no excuse not to leave you a love note right on the wall. :)

I agree it's bold and brave! I love it but not sure if I could do a entire chalk wall in my house. If I hated it that would be aweful lol.

I painted one entire wall of Kyles bonus room with chaulk board paint. And in the middle is a basket ball hoop. That way he can name his teams on either side and keep score. He really loves it....the only thing I hate is all the chaulk dust that falls to teh floor....UGH!
Can't wait to see your wall all complete :O)

Nice job! I'm in the process of removing the gold, too. And my entryway and dining room have gone chalkboard black. I love it so much I might paint the living room black too.

I don't like the chalk dust either, but every person who comes in my house loves to leave a note, so it's a small price to pay for all the fun it provides!

Please, please get some colored chalk and draw clouds up high near the ceiling. I love the wall. The best thing for the kids creativity and moma's too. I want to see a big yellow sun ----- more pictures please!
